The ORIGINAL sound track is amazing. This is just big-named singers taking something great and getting money out of autotune. The only one that was unique was Zac Brown Band's cover. If you want a good, original cover for the soundtrack, Peter Hollens gives it a unique spin.

P!nK and her DAUGHTER, WILLOW, ONE TRACK following the other, Perhaps the first new family of music!!! INCREDIBLE!!!
  • What an abhorent abomination of an album. Stick with the original.

My title says it all. These songs are all about vanity and tinkering with perfection. No thanks.
  • Completely love it!!!!!

Kelly & Pink are amazing. Great movie & soundtrack and this version is so great. wonderful choices of talent though I love the original too but Kelly is by far my favorite.

The remakes do not measure up to the soundtrack, these are pretty horrible in comparison. I did enjoy the remake by Pink however, it starts good and then goes flat 3/4 way through the song. The purchase wasn’t worth it.

I have to agree with many of the reviews on here because the original soundtrack was great, but I don’t think any of the artists that re-recorded these beautiful songs were bad. They were just different. Sara Bareilles gave the best reimagining on this album. I liked her version of “Tightrope” much better than the original. I also generally love Pink and Kelly Clarkson, but despite their amazing voices the songs they reimagined were from some of the more emotional moments in the movie and they simply couldn’t give me the feels that I got from the original “Million Dreams” and “Never Enough”. Zac Efron and Zendaya did a much better version of “Rewrite the Stars”. Panic at the Disco made a nice attempt at “The Greatest Show”, but the song was too big for them. As for the “This is Me”, it didn’t need a reimagining. The original couldn’t be improved upon. Kesha and Missy Elliot made a nice try to help reimagine it, but it fell far short of elevating the song or making a version worth purchasing. Overall, I liked the idea of this album, so I’m giving it 5 stars, but you can’t improve on perfection.

Horrible redo of the soundtrack made by other artists. The only good songs are the ones by panic at the disco and pink
